Bio

I am fascinated by the process of creating, by the way(s) in which the creative process -- and hopefully that which is created -- have the ability to take us out of our normal realm of being and into a transcendent state where time and limits are suspended. Recurrent themes in my work are the processes of transformation and metamorphosis.

Even Sleepers are workers and collaborators on what goes on in the universe.

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in sculpture and a film thematics, a Bachelor of Arts (Anthropology), and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Michigan State University. I've had a number of careers . . . as a scientific and wildlife illustrator, newsletter writer and editor, advertising designer, social worker, research assistant, and as a registered nurse.  I have returned to animation to work with color, light and dark and motion in time.
